ClipSpace is designed around local clipboard history and controls for sensitive-looking content.

Data processed by the app
ClipSpace does not require a user account. The app processes clipboard data and app preferences on your Mac to provide its clipboard-management features.
Clipboard data
ClipSpace accesses clipboard content to provide clipboard history, search, smart clip detection, previews, pinning, formatting, copying, and reuse.
Clipboard history is stored locally on your Mac. Locally stored data may include copied text, rich text, images, file or image payload metadata, source app details when available, creation date, pin state, category, title, tags, sensitive-content state, and usage metadata.
Sensitive-looking content
Sensitive-looking content is detected locally and can be masked or excluded from history. Examples include token-like text, password-like text, one-time codes, private keys, payment-card-like numbers, and content copied from selected sensitive apps.
Where supported, you can use recording controls and app exclusions to limit capture, mask sensitive-looking clips in the list, and delete clips or clear clipboard history.
Preferences and usage state
Preferences and usage state—such as history limits, appearance, launch behavior, app exclusions, pin state, and sensitive-content settings—are stored locally where supported.
Local storage
Your clipboard history, preferences, pinned clips, and related app data are stored locally on your device. You can remove clipboard entries using the app's deletion and clear-history controls where supported.
Support enquiries
If you use the contact form or contact support by email, the website's server-side contact service and the email delivery services involved process the information you voluntarily send. This may include your name, email address, message, app and macOS versions, and attachments you add through your email app.
Avoid sending passwords, tokens, private keys, or confidential clipboard content.
Website data
This website does not set cookies and does not include analytics or telemetry scripts. The website host may process standard technical request data, such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, and timestamps, and may retain request logs for security and operations.
Links in the app or website, such as Privacy, Terms, Support, and developer links, may open external pages. Those sites apply their own privacy practices.
User controls
You can control clipboard recording, history limits, visible items, appearance, launch behavior, sensitive-content behavior, app exclusions, and clearing clipboard history from Settings where supported.
Children's privacy
ClipSpace is a developer productivity utility and is not designed for children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new update date.
