1. Your Privacy
This policy explains how ClipSpace for iPhone and iPad handles information when you use the app. ClipSpace is built to provide clipboard-management features without sending your clipboard history to the developer.
2. Clipboard Content
ClipSpace allows you to save and manage supported clipboard content, which may include text, links, URLs, images, files, documents, and pinned items. That content is used only to provide features such as saving, searching, previewing, pinning, copying, sharing, suggesting, and synchronizing clips.
ClipSpace does not send clipboard content to the developer for analytics, advertising, profiling, or marketing. The app operates within Apple's platform privacy and background-execution restrictions and does not claim to continuously monitor the iOS or iPadOS clipboard in the background.
3. iCloud & Cross-Device Sync
If enabled and available, ClipSpace may optionally synchronize eligible ClipSpace data between your Apple devices using Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services. Sync is optional, can be disabled, and may store eligible data in your iCloud environment to provide synchronization.
iCloud synchronization is distinct from developer data collection. ClipSpace does not operate a separate, developer-controlled cloud server for collecting clipboard history. Where supported, sensitive content may be excluded from synchronization.
4. Sensitive Content
ClipSpace may detect and mask supported sensitive-looking content. This detection is a privacy aid and is not guaranteed to identify every sensitive item.
Where supported, sensitive content can be excluded from sync, widgets, keyboard suggestions, App Intents, Shortcuts, and other external surfaces. You should still use care when copying confidential information.
6. Keyboard Extension
Where available and enabled, the optional ClipSpace keyboard may provide access to eligible saved clips while you type. ClipSpace does not use keyboard input for advertising, tracking, or behavioral profiling, and sensitive clips are not automatically exposed by the keyboard.
7. Siri, Shortcuts & App Intents
Where available, these features use Apple system frameworks to perform actions that you initiate or configure. Information needed for an action may be handled by the applicable Apple framework according to your device settings and Apple's terms and privacy practices.
8. Widgets & Controls
ClipSpace may provide widgets and system controls where available. Sensitive clipboard content is not intentionally displayed by default, and supported privacy settings may further limit what appears on these external surfaces.
9. Analytics
ClipSpace does not currently use third-party analytics SDKs to collect information about how you use the app.
10. Advertising
ClipSpace contains no third-party advertising and does not sell user information to advertisers.
11. Tracking
ClipSpace does not track users across apps, websites, or services owned by other companies.
12. Third-Party Services
ClipSpace may rely on Apple platform services, including iCloud, CloudKit, Siri, Shortcuts, WidgetKit, App Intents, and other operating-system functionality. These services are provided and controlled by Apple, not ClipSpace, and their operation is subject to Apple's terms, privacy practices, settings, and availability.
13. Data Storage & Retention
Locally stored clips remain until you delete them, they are removed according to configured history settings, or the relevant application data is removed. If iCloud synchronization is enabled, synchronized data is subject to ClipSpace synchronization behavior and Apple's iCloud mechanisms.
ClipSpace does not retain a separate developer-controlled copy of your clipboard history.
14. Deleting Your Data
Where supported, you can delete individual clips, clear clipboard history, disable synchronization, and remove locally stored application data through ClipSpace or system settings. There is no separate ClipSpace server account containing your clipboard history.
15. Permissions
ClipSpace requests access only when necessary for user-selected functionality. The permissions presented depend on the features you use, your device, and your operating-system version, and can be reviewed in Apple system settings where applicable.
16. Children's Privacy
ClipSpace is a general productivity utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-controlled ClipSpace account or clipboard-history service.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy as ClipSpace, Apple platforms, or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
